Family Photos
At your next parent-teen activity, take a photo of each family group, and then use the photos as prayer reminders. If you’re going to be too busy organizing things, assign someone else to be the photographer. When you get the photos printed, write the names of the parents and teenagers on the back. Once a week, set aside a regular time to pray for these parents and their children by name. Pray for any needs you know about, or pray a simple blessing for them, using a Scripture verse. You may not be able to get through all the families at one time, so keep the photos in order and rotate through the pile, praying for as many as possible. You could also send a copy of the photo to each family with a note on the back to say you’re praying for them. Adapted from Plugging In Parents (Group Publishing, Inc.) |
